About Vivid Riley, Co-Founder, OmAge Yoga * * * OmAge Yoga has relocated to Italy and Costa Rica * * * Vivid Riley, a Chinese-American, has lived in the UAE since 2006. A native of Shanghai, she left her hometown 28 years ago and has lived in more than 9 countries stretching across Asia - Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. Vivid is an Abu Dhabi based certified Yoga Alliance RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher), RCYT (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher) and RYPT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) and co-founder of OmAge Yoga , FZC. With over 500 hours of yoga teaching experience, she has managed great Yoga events including a note-worthy Yoga Workshop with reknowned Yogi Michel Besnard at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabiand sucessfully launched 2 sub-brands under OmAge Yoga: OmAge Corporate Yoga and OmAge Yogi Source. She also spearheaded the studio contract with the Park Hyatt Hotel and Villas Abu Dhabi.
Over the summer of 2015, Vivid extended her Yoga teaching skills to Kids and Mindfulness Yoga attending a training at the Little Flower Yoga Academy in New York, USA and subsequently became the first and only RCYT (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher under Yoga Alliance) and RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Wanting to continue to grow her knowledge and practice, Vivid completed her training in Prenatal Yoga for Expectant Mothers at the renowned Matrika Prenatal Yoga School located in Pennsylvania, USA. She is now qualified to help Mothers with Prenatal Yoga as well as Yoga to Enhance Maximum Fertility all based on proven practices and techniques that are safe and comforting for those expecting or expecting to be! A graduate of the University of Maryland in 2004 with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in Business Communications, she worked with a leading Public Relations Firm in Kuala Lumpur, handling Branding, Marketing and PR for many multi-nationals clients as well as major government projects. Moving to the UAE in 2007, she joined a pioneering PR and Marketing Agency in Dubai where she focused on projects in the Hotel, Travel, Event and Exhibition sector GCC-wide until her passion turned from the Corporate World to the World of Yoga.
